Timberland
We buy forested, replanted, and bare timberland as well as timber deeds and delivered Douglas-fir logs. Maximum log size with a butt diameter of 40-inches (inside bark) down to a minimum scaling diameter of 5-inches (inside bark). Acceptable lengths are from 12 feet plus 8 inches to 40 feet plus 10 inches of trim. Logs 12' to 20' must have 8" of trim, while logs greater than 20 feet must have 10 inches of trim. Our preferred lengths are 40'10" for long logs and 20'8" for short logs.
